Princess, the cat, has continued to evolve as a skittish, high-strung tabby, always on the lookout for whatever might be a perceived, imaginary threat.
Of course, that doesn't stop her from continuing to smear my couch on a regular basis with her scent, and worse...
She did it again apparently today - and she was on red-alert to see whether I would discover it.
At first, I just plopped down to eat and watch part of a movie. But then, I could feel that all-familiar dampness underneath my dress. She was around allright - on the lookout near the dining room, the next room in our open floor plan.
Soon as she saw me getting pissed [no pun, really], and getting up from this mess on my own couch, she ran for it. She flitted out of sight, flying up the stairs like a bullet. How obvious can you get, guilty cat?? !!
About half an hour later, she figured it would all be forgotten. I was still busy watching the movie when she slinked down the stairs, looking over my way as casually as she could muster. I did not even have to do or say anything: the look in my face, or maybe just my 'vibe' was enough for her to know that I was still, well... pissed. :)
She briskly bounced out of sight again, this time downstairs. She actually banned herself away from us, Gabriel and I in the living room, for the rest of the evening. (Until she got hungry and finally came up in the kitchen.)
